    Best purchase ever!
Automatic threader: I lLOVE this feature! Quick and easy to do without fussing and it works! A step up from the Brother 1034DT and adds 2 thread serving for a little more in price but it's nice to have that option. Comes with blind hemmer and gathering foot and differential feed.

    Absolutely Love it!
Had a HuskyLock S25 that constantly needed repairs and was a 2 hour drive to dealer. Actually my new Brother is easier to thread and to use. Wish I had bought a Brother in the first place.

    1st serger owned
Sew like a breaze, nice and quite, until the tmiming messed up and the manufactory waranty picked up. The place they sent us to to fix the serger did a great job. One happy serger again.

    Inspired by Brothers products
Love, love, love my brothers surger! It is easy, percise, and operates smoothly. I make lots of tote bags, lounge wear and pajamas. My surger gives all my projects a professional look. My first surger was a Singer that gave me problems from beginning to end. I spent three times the cost in repairing that machine. I purchased a Brothers embroidery machine, and love the easy operation and dependability of it. That's why I brought a Brothers surger. Next is their sewing machine. In love ... read more with their products!

    DZ1234 - A real workhorse
This machine is a great investment. I have used it on many different types of fabrics, from silk to faux leather and it has handled it all.

    Great Purchase
Love this serger. It is easy to thread once you have done it a couple of times. I now can thread it very quickly. It's a little tricky to change needles because one screw controls both needles, but I have done it. It sews quite nicely. Seams look great!!!

    Well worth the money!
The user manual is also user friendly. Set up is easy to follow. Various stitching, needle and tension changes easy to perform. Works just as I had hoped. Would recommend Craftsy class on Coverstitching, if additional questions persist.

    love this cover stitch
Super simple to use & makes sewing with knits easy. Only "con" I can think of is this machine is sold with the wrong needles, you immediately need to switch the needles to stretch needles to prevent any skipping

    Serging made easy
I did my homework before buying this serger, and am glad I did. It is so easy to use, and YouTube has tutorial videos to help new users. The instruction manual and controls are easy to understand. I use the serger for garment construction and crafts, and now I don't know how I used to get along without it.

    Finally Bought a Serger
I reviewed lots of sergers -- very inexpensive ones to very expensive ones. I settled on the Brother 3034D because if I didn't like it or got bored with it, I wouldn't be upset over wasted money because it wasn't expensive. I wasn't upset and I didn't waste money. This is a good starter serger and once you get the hang of it, you will be surprised how fast it is and how capable. Now I have both my sewing machine and serger out on the table ready to go.

    Worth the money!
The user manual is also user friendly. Threading, needle change and tension adjustment are easy to perform. Stitching is smooth. Machine just hums along! I also took a Craftsy class on machine maintenance and beginner usage. Also, well worth the money to get the most out of your machine.

I am so happy/lucky to have a Brother Serger 1034D
The problem is ... since I've taken it out of the box, I haven't even turned the power on. It is very intimidating. I'm searching for videos/tutorials to help get over my fear of turning it own. In the meantime, I'm throughly enjoying my Brother "Project Runway" Limited Edition sewing machine and especially my Brother PE-770 Embroidery Machine. I'm a Brother fan!
