    Brother 3034D serger
This is my first serger. I was a bit nervous about using a serger because I had heard that they were touchy and difficult to thread. This serger is easy to thread with the color coded diagram in the machine. The quality of the stitch is good and stitches can be adjusted. There is also an open arm for ease of sewing sleeves. I am using the machine mostly for clothing construction.

    Inspired by Brothers products
Love, love, love my brothers surger! It is easy, percise, and operates smoothly. I make lots of tote bags, lounge wear and pajamas. My surger gives all my projects a professional look. My first surger was a Singer that gave me problems from beginning to end. I spent three times the cost in repairing that machine. I purchased a Brothers embroidery machine, and love the easy operation and dependability of it. That's why I brought a Brothers surger. Next is their sewing machine. In love ... read more with their products!

    Brother 1634D Serger
So far, I am loving my new Brother Serger. I previously had a Singer Serger, but it just got old. Since I had experience with one, I didn't find it difficult to operate. I love the professional stitching. I plan on learning how to use the gathering feature in the near future.

    Well worth the money!
The user manual is also user friendly. Set up is easy to follow. Various stitching, needle and tension changes easy to perform. Works just as I had hoped. Would recommend Craftsy class on Coverstitching, if additional questions persist.

    Love this machine!
I love this coverstitch machine! It's not hard to learn to thread it, especially if you have some serger experience. It does take some practice and watching video tutorials on how to remove the fabric from the machine and tie off the ends properly. But once I got it, I got it! Now, not only are hems faster and easier, my knits look professionally made.

    Absolutely Love it!
Had a HuskyLock S25 that constantly needed repairs and was a 2 hour drive to dealer. Actually my new Brother is easier to thread and to use. Wish I had bought a Brother in the first place.

    Love it
I have only had my serger a few months, but I have had to tackle the hard stuff!! By that I mean thread it. And I was successful the first time!! I did keep the book right next to the serger while I was doing it. It seems to be easy enough to get the tensions correct. With the holidays being here, and being so busy I have not had enough time to try and experiment with it. But now that those are past, and it stops raining I can run over to JoAnns and get some fabric to practice with and see how ... read more the different stitches are accomplished.

    A good serger
This is my first serger. While I like this machine there are a few things I wish were different. I wish there was a more sensitive foot pedal. I like to sew a little slower and the foot pedal seems to be either sewing fast or not at all. I wonder if I could purchase a different foot pedal? Also, I got the timing off because of trying to remove a jammed piece of fabric. That cost me $90 to repair. :(

    Love it!
I have not stopped sewing since I got the machine. I love the support and abundant information on "how to" do different stitches.

    DZ1234 - A real workhorse
This machine is a great investment. I have used it on many different types of fabrics, from silk to faux leather and it has handled it all.

    Designio DZ1234
Nice machine for the money, but a bit noisier than I would like. Also the hand wheel is hard to turn and seems like it gets "stuck". Other than that, no complaints.
