    Love my ScannCut
Love using this to cut vinyl for shirts, mugs, can koozies, etc. The more I use it, the more comfortable I become with it, just need more practice. Would like to upgrade to the Scan n Cut2, but can't really justify that.

    Great Purchase
I was looking for a machine to help cut my quilting fabric and found the CM550DX ScanNCut machine. I went ahead and bought it. It was the greatest purchase I made. I loved the fact that you can cut perfect Quilting squares, Triangles or whatever shape you need to quilt with. I went ahead and purchased the 12 x 24 inch matte and am now able to cut larger quantities and sizes of fabric quilt blocks/patterns needed. Greatest Purchase in my quilting hobby.

    so far
I was so excited to get this machine, but SO FAR, I have made a mess of the tacky sheets, and I think there should be more how to explanations in the manual. It did not come with a scanning sheet for photos and such, and SO FAR I have not attempted anything like that. I did cut out some card stock and it was good, but I have to go online and search for how to videos, maybe an idea book would be great for this machine. I am still learning, SO FAR SO GOOD>

    So good I have 2!
My scan n cuts are working overtime because they are perfect for cutting intricate patterns in one-inch sizes for my art pieces. I love these guys! My Cricut now sits in the closet with all my cartridges since I bought my first scan n cut. The Cricut is fine for big pieces but destroys little pieces.

    Happy Birthday Present
I received this as a present in February - and it sat mocking me for about 7 months. When I finally got up the nerve to try it I was delighted! It is so fun. My only concerns are that the mat loses stickiness quickly and won't hold the media to be cut. Cleaning helps - but I can see needing to replace it often. Also - I predominately want to use it for cutting fabric and wish there were more projects and tutorials specifically for fabric.

    Completely changed my crafting life
I received this as an early birthday gift from my husband. I already own two versions of competitor's machine. Those machines just didn't do what I needed them to do, especially now that I am learning to sew. The ScanNCut definitely has changed up what I can do with fabric and vinyl, and after watching a few videos, I've found it so very easy to use. I especially love the scan feature, which allows me to waste fewer materials, get cuts precisely on prints where I'd like, and to cut out ... read more existing prints. I also feel that the accessories are far more reasonable than the competition, but unfortunately are hard to find in stores. I find the cloud-based ScanNCut Canvas convenient, and I also love that I don't necessarily have to be tied to a computer to use my machine. I highly recommend this cutter.

    great machine but not perfect
I do like having the scan and cut for cutting out stamps that I do not have a die for. However, I find the SNC to be somewhat persnickety. By the time I get some of the stamps to and files to cut right, I could have cut out by hand. That being said, it is easy to use and I am glad I purchased it. I do recommend the cheaper version> I bought the more expensive one and I don't think it was worth the difference in price

    Best purchase ever!
Great product, love that it can scan without having to look for svg files. Every time my daughters and I finish a project whether it be an htv project or vinyl project we are always amazed at the quality that comes from the Scan N Cut. Love, love, love my CM650 Scan N Cut.

    Need more practice, I think!
I have only been able to use the machine a few evenings..... I purchased it mainly to cut out stamped images. However was disappointed that it didn't work without me outlining the image which distracts from the image.

Why did I wait so long-my go to machine
I enjoy making cards for friends and family and love that I can now weld built in shapes together and make personal cards for any occasion. My granddaughter declared her card Her most favorite card (and she hadn't opened any other ones yet) A six year old boy told me he had his card in his desk drawer because he did NOT want to lose it. Thanks Scan and Cut for making it possible!
